About the training
Training on optics-eyewear is a three-year technical and craft profession based on dual learning. This course combines theory in a vocational school with intensive practice in a company, allowing the acquisition of skills in vision analysis, customer advice, manufacturing and fitting of glasses, working with materials, contact lens management, and knowledge of the eye.
One of the major advantages is that this training is that it's paid from the first year, offering financial support to apprentices. At the end of the training, they can work in an optician’s shop or pursue specialisations such as master optician or optometry.

- High school diploma (Atleast GCE Advanced Level)
- German language level required: B2
- Be under 36 years old
You have the chance to begin electrical engineering vocational training in Germany, in March/April or in September/October of each year.
1st Year: Up to €800/month
This is the amount you will receive each month during your training in Germany
2nd Year: Up to 950 €/month
