About the training
This profession is a pillar of underground civil engineering, specifically applied to foundations and the structure of railway tracks. It is a dual training (duale Ausbildung), like most skilled trades in Germany, and not from a university engineering course. This training, from a duration of 3 to 3.5 years, follows the German dual model, alternating theoretical courses and practical work on site. She is paid from the first year.
At the end of the course, graduates can integrate railway construction companies, underground infrastructure projects or rail transport companies, with strong employment prospects in a highly technical and constantly evolving sector.

You have the chance to begin electrical engineering vocational training in Germany, in March/April or in September/October of each year.
